It is a non-surgical treatment that uses tiny needles to penetrate the skin into the deeper dermis (where connective tissues like collagen are generated). The needles stimulate the production of collagen and allows for topicals like hyaluronic acid to deeply penetrate the skin; resulting in structural and cosmetic benefits. Microneedling can help with smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, refine enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks, tighten the skin, and even out skin tone (including melasma).
